01 — Who we are

Morran is a grooming brand operated from the Netherlands, EU. We can be reached at info@morran.store.

This Privacy Policy is written in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), applicable across the European Union. Customers located in California, USA are additionally protected under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal data we collect, to request correction or deletion of your data, and to opt out of the use of your data for personalised advertising. 02 — What data we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details. Payment data is handled directly by our payment provider and never stored on our servers. When you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address only.

03 — How we use your data

We use your data to fulfil your order, send order updates, and — if you have subscribed — send occasional field notes and early access drops. We do not sell your data to third parties.

04 — Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the site functional and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie banner or the link in the footer.

05 — Your rights — overview

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. See section 10 below for the full list of rights and how to exercise them.

06 — Production and fulfillment partner

For the manufacturing and shipping of your order, we share your name, shipping address, email, and order details with Selfnamed (Lielmaņi, Mārupes nov., Latvia, LV-2167). Selfnamed acts as our data processor and uses your data solely for production and dispatch. They do not contact you directly. Their privacy policy is available at selfnamed.com.

07 — Payment processing

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments (operated by Shopify International Payments Limited in the EU, with Stripe Payments Europe Limited as underlying processor). Card details are handled directly by Shopify Payments and Stripe and are never stored on our servers. See shopify.com/legal/privacy and stripe.com/privacy for details.

08 — Data retention

Order data is retained for 7 years for Dutch tax compliance. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email; your address is removed within 7 days of unsubscribing.

09 — Cookies in detail

We use three categories of cookies.

Essential — keep the cart, checkout, and security working. Always on.
Analytics — help us understand which pages are read; we currently use a privacy-friendly analytics provider (tool under review).
Marketing — used for retargeting if you have opted in.

10 — Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to info@morran.store. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
